Created for Jan van Gelder and Karel van Mader prizes given to the exceptional work of Dutch art historians, these two objects made out of wooden base, metal and acrylic layers, symbolize motive of time and deep research of art historians.
The result is the small intimate artificial landscape of history, time and deep art history knowledge. One of the prizes is completed with the counterclockwise ticking clock represented the historical aspect of art history profession.
The prizes were commissioned by Vereniging van Nederlandse Kunsthistorici (Association of Dutch art historians).
