Originally designed in 1975 for Pip’s Playboy Club in Los Angeles, this rocking armchair is a decorative masterpiece by flamboyant American decorator Charles Hollis Jones. Active during the 1960s and 1970s in California, Jones is one of the most prolific representatives of the American decorative design of the second half of the century. Made out of nickel-plated steel and acrylic, the work represents typical Jones's approach to designing interior solitaires of that time.
