La Vague is a free platform for creating useful yet artistic design objects founded by crowd of young ECAL graduates and students. Next month you can see it at Depot Basel and their Craft & Scenography project.
And they say: "La Vague is a platform for publishing and self-produced objects created by young designers. From idea to mail the package, they are the ones who take care of everything. Produced by artisans, local compagnies, or the designers themselves, the objects are distributed on special sales and via its website."
Dimitri Bähler, Anurag Etchepareborda, Anne Julmy, Linn Kandel, Charlotte Talbot, Jean Besson and Fanny Dora participate in the project with their minimalist and poetic objects including Tronc lamp by Charlotte Talbot, collection of Bags from Tyvek by Linn Kandel or domestic kinetic sculptures Round & Round by Jean Besson.
With its great visual style and photography, there is one of the most interesting projects from ECAL designers in the last years.
