...and after!

Presentation of the Swedish design school Konstfack University College caught our eyes at Spazio Rossana Orlandi at this year Salone del Mobile in Milan

We present it here via our own play with the beautiful yellow and pink cards featuring most of the exhibited projects. 13 students were selected under the theme "Design for a Liquid Society" inspired by the Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman's phrase "liquid modernity," an observation that individuals are more and more involved in planning their lives and careers through short-term projects and episodes.

Highlights of the exhibition included CONST lamp by Ploypan Theerachai of Thinkk Studio, which is a contemporary take on the postmodernist colorful and crazy aesthetic. Assemblage of wood, marble and metal creates decorative yet functional desk object. Each part can not function without the another. Base, body and shape support each other and playful object is born.

Our favorite piece is also small conversation piece of furniture called Confession. Designed by Nick Ross, the Confession is the micro interior environment offering intimate space for quick meeting and speaking each other.
