Our preoccupation of experimental cars and special aerodynamic prototypes continues with this Rolls-Royce Phantom Jonckheere Coupe.

Inspired by art-deco movements as well as modernist dynamic, this coupe was built by Henri Jonckheere and his son Joseph Jonckheere for Rolls-Royce. Famous couach and car body builders from Belgium created this extravagant car masterpiece in 1935, just in time for for the Concours on the French Riviera where it won the ‘Prix de Cannes’ award. The striking features of the car include oval doors or aerodynamic wings at the back.
