Designed and crafted by duo of amazing American designers and makers Philip Lloyd Powell (1919-2008) and Paul Evans (1931 – 1987), this wall Constellation sculpture is their early master work.

Created at Powell studio in New Hope, Pennsylvania, where Evan took up residence, during early 1950s, the sculpture, resembling christmas decoration, includes organically formed walnut wood, metal structures and colorful glass shades to create expressionist composition, both functional and decorative. Powell's excellent woodwork meets Evans's early metalwork mastery in this piece.
