Some time ago we have visited this modernist apartment building by Jean Ginsberg (1905 - 1983) in Paris.
Born in Poland and active in France, Ginsberg is one of the most interesting protagonists of French modernist architecture in the generations after Le Corbusier and his influence. He is most famous for his Parisian apartment buildings he designed during the 1950s.
This one on 19 rue du Docteur Blanche in 16th arrondissement de Paris is the prime example of his main work. The building, created in collaboration with Georges Massé between 1950 and 1953, features organically designed garden, as well as summer terrace on the top and many original details such as concrete benches and others.
