British Kenneth Grange (1929) is a real industrial designer. In his work since his first projects in 1950s we can find everything from trains and cameras to shavers and lamps. More recently we are amazed by his brand new design for fashion brand Margaret Howell. Grange has designed the minimalist Plus shirt for the label. It is very interesting to see how industrial designer who had designed the trains before it, can design the fashion piece with excellent result today.

In our article we have selected three Grange`s designs that show his creative development in the last 40 years. The typology of every object is total different from the another one. Camera x Lamp x Shirt. Three consumer products, but every time with different function and attitude. But in every design we can find the typical Grange`s creative ethos. Pure minimalist lines and straightforward thinking about the function and form of the object.
