We love Slovakian 1970s brutalist modernism. Thats why we fell in love with this year venue of Bratislava Design Week, where we had a lecture this week.

We have captured the brutalist townhouse, where some of the exhibitions of Design Week took place, in its decay. Designed by Štefan Ďurkovič at the beginning of the 1970, the building with the striking steel facade in the center of Bratislava is the former headquarters of State Projection Institute. Now, seven floors of the building are symbolical witness of modernism daybreak.
