We have prepared the best selected fashion outfit for everyday use of the last year, 2010.
A lot of was coming in the fashion in the last year. These products represented our best moments and trends in street/work/natural wear which was a really big hit in 2010.
1. Best Cap
When we have discovered Danish label Norse Projects, we were immediately fascinated by its own minimalist cap designs. One of them is this black 5 Panel cap which is so ordinary that it is the best on it. Norse Projects was one of the best fashion labels of the last year for us. Combining street wear with minimalist scandinavian approach, the brand is really our taste.
2. Best Jacket
Parka-style jacket was number one in fashion of the last seasons. A lot of great parkas we saw last year. But only one could be there. Our winner is Garbstore Mountain Providence Special Edition Parka jacket, which was released in February 2010. Limited run of only thirty pieces was coming in royal blue color and contrasting flannel inside. All the details are extraordinary.
3. Best Trousers
Despite that Levis is the best company for trousers for OKOLO, we fell in love with Opening Ceremony for Pendleton Velcro Waist Trousers. Revolutionary retailer Opening Ceremony was collaborating with many old or new labels last year. Pendleton, traditional American woolen mills producing fabrics since 1909 has enjoyed the big comeback into the world of fashion. And not only Pendleton. Many traditional companies collaborates with new fashion labels or reintroduces their production lines. Classic and vintage work wear meets new fashion world. It is one of the biggest trends in fashion today and in the last year too.
4. Best Shoes
Bit hit of these days are leather boots inspired by classic vintage mountaineering and woodsman style. We like it very much, but shoes of the last year are Vans Vault for us. Vans Vault, more artistic division of the footwear skateboarding legend, has collaborated with many in the last year. We can mention here work wear label Filson, furniture manufacture Knoll, above mentioned Pendleton, Amsterdam-based artist Parra, Japanese fashion wizard Junya Watanabe or Supreme and Carhartt. But collaboration with British saddle company Brooks England is really something new. Limited edition of Vans Vault shoes of 1000 pieces was accompanied by masterly crafted saddle (edition of 500) by Brooks England.
