As a homage to Paloma Picasso, Spanish sculptor Miguel Berrocal has created this sculptural jewelry set and vanity in his signature constructional/surrealist style.

Berrocal (1933 - 2006) became famous for his extraordinary metal sculptures which are assembled from many individual parts connecting each other to create a new organism. Influenced by surrealism, his objects are brain teasers of modernism.

This vanity vas created in 1970 in a limited number of 2000 pieces and is made out of nickel-plated brass, mirrored glass and brass. The central brass medallion, an homage to Paloma Picasso, converts into a bracelet.
