Alvar Aalto is an author of many iconic modernist buildings around Finland. But this one we have seen for the first time when we were in Helsinki one month ago.

This functionalist block without typical Aalto's organic curves and volumes is the Finnish forestry products company Enso Gutzeit headquarters built by Aalto between 1959 - 1962. Radical architecture includes strictly geometric facade as well as some typical Aalto's features such as integrated lightning and wooden details.
