Our favorite Dutch designers and collaborators, great Daphna Isaacs and Laurens Manders have created a new range of products based on their typical lyrical and elegant contemporary style.

Cover is a collection of vases or dozes which was designed especially for the last exhibition of Dutch Invertuals at Dutch Design Week last month. For thematic show called Untouchables they have prepared these transparent table objects. "By drawing a line or closing borders, by creating boundaries or setting up fences people believe they can create a certain level of safety. These fences are the reason curiosity turns into fear. Fear of the unknown. These objects aim to call up this natural human quality, curiosity.", says designers.

Presentation of Dutch Invertuals exhibitions is always very nice. This time it was based on the portraits of exhibiting designers shot behind the semi-transparent covers.

Růžena Žertová`s lightning design was the highlight of our exhibition at Lodz Design Festival. A lot of about her work you can read in one of our previous articles. Now we have here short report from her home and studio in Brno, where she showed us how to repair one of her unique table lamps.

The 1950s table lamps are small intimate domestic sculptures as we say in our text for the exhibition Light Sculptures prepared for Lodz Design Festival. This lamp by Angelo Lelli is the finest example of it.

Angello Lelli is one if the most intriguing lightning designers of the second half of the last century. His work from 1950s to 1970s is the permanent effort for the new surprising forms and shapes. Lelli was the founder of Arredoluce in Monza in Italy which became very influential lightning company during the 1960.

This lamp comes from 1955 and represents one of the most elegant Lelli`s designs.

More from Angelo Lelli in the future.

Finally we have here review from our exhibition at Lodz Design Festival. Above you can read whole text about the concept of the exhibition presented on our posters for the exhibition, as well as discover some of the highlights of the show next to the hidden icons which we could not discover in the archives. So presented them in illustrations only.

Pictures from the installation above as well.

Thanks Lodz Design Festival for the opportunity to be part of it and all the collaborators of the exhibition.
