The first collection of leather and linen handbags and accessories from PB 0110 caught our eyes at Seek fashion fair in Berlin last week.

Based in Hannover, Germany, PB 0110 is the brand new company presenting beautiful minimalist bags designed by Ayzit Bostan, Christine Ahrens and Christian Metzner. "I believe in the deep significance of beloved objects in our everyday lives," says founder of the company Philipp Bree. The products are made by precision craftsmen in Europe from the high-quality materials sourced from Germany, Belgium and Italy.

The presentation of the company is worth to mention as well. Art-directed by Haw-lin Services, the catalogue features minimalist photography and layout including bright colorful blocks, e15 furniture or Acne fashion.

Our favorite Czech shoe designer Marie Petráková presented her new collection of shoes made for her best friends.

Presented as a final work at UMPRUM in Prague, Petráková has designed eight pairs of shoes for her friends Petra, Nastassia, Daria, Maria, Marta and Karolina, mostly another great creative minds from Czech design, art and fashion scene. "I spent this last winter in Reykjavik, Iceland. It was the first time ever I was out of my natural habitat for such a long time. It was the never-ending Skype calls with my friends between Reykjavík - Prague - Jerusalem - Vienna what inspired in the preparation of this collection. The long-distance dialogues were full of experinces from new lands and nostalgy. They also made me realize how strong were these friendships and how strong was my connection to my homeland. That is why I decided to work with a more intimate topic. The collection is inspired by the six individual personalities of my friends," Marie says about the collection called Personal designs

The collection includes very diverse series of shoes full of colors, shapes and materials. Sometimes inspired by contemporary colorful postmodern look as in the shoes for Marta made out of colorful wooden platform, sometimes by richness of materials as in the model for Petra. Also very interesting design represent two pairs for sisters Daria and Maria featuring colorful soles and perforated body.

Slovakia-born and Lausanne-based designer Tomáš Král is famous for his poetic neo-functionalist style. Auvent is a candlestick made out of powder-coated metal sheets.

Our friend and collaborator Tomáš Král, recently teacher at ECAL in Lausanne, will lead his workshop at Boisbuchet this summer from 21 to 27 July 2013. It is his second workshop there.

Nestled in the beautiful landscape close to Limoges in France, Boisbuchet is the historical domain, first mentioned in documents dating from the the 16th century. In 1986, the furniture collector and until 2010 curator of Vitra Design Museum Alexander von Vegesack purchased the estate, to bring it to new life for agricultural and cultural purposes. Workshops supported by Vitra and Center Pompidou and led by the greatest luminaries in design and architecture are on program every summer.

Find more about the workshop Sit-able led by Tomáš Král below:

The aim of this workshop is to imagine and explore creative possibilities of seating in the nature. Observing, relaxing, discovering, picknicking, chilling, sunbathing… there is plenty of reasons and situations why we can enjoy spending moments in the nature.

Occasional, temporary or fixed, single or collective, carry-on "pocket" elements, we will focus on inventive simple seating objects that fit for this specific purpose and complete, customize, hack, pimp or parasitize a selected place.

We usually simply sit on the grass, big stone, tree trunk or up on a strong branch. Based on similar elemental observations and starting with choosing a specific place around Boisbuchet or a precise situation, we will define original scenarios about outside seating and explore natural materials to build seating objects.

Scenario or environment led and material driven. Through a hands on approach we will specify to your ideas an appropriated process, construction method and material solutions. From a minimal transportable seat to a hanged construction in the tree…

This amazing collection of ceramic masterpieces by French ceramist Juliette Derel caught our eyes very much.

Presented at Design Miami/Basel by our favorite Paris-based Thomas Fritsch - Artrium gallery, the pieces by Juliette Derel (1918-2007) come from the beginning of the 1960s and represent haute couture of the French ceramic school of that time. Abstract wall reliefs, tables, mirrors as well as unique sculptural floor lamp belong to the rare collection of the mid-century French design.
